As part of our continual effort in promoting flute music, we were proud to invite Mr. Roberto Alvarez to JB for a recital, seminar and master class:

In addition to Mr. Roberto's wonderful recital, we had a great ensemble group lesson with Mr. Roberto where he gave us valuable tips on breathing, playing together...
In the seminar after the recital, Mr. Roberto shared some really eye-opening modern techniques, such as whistle tones, singing tones,etc... which are more than just effects or another form of expressions. The new techniques are also very valuable in developing better sound and control.
